About Andali
Our first venture into the world of showing dogs began in 1986 with Akitas under the kennel name Moto-Yori Akitas. Some of our accomplishments during our time was AKC titled champions and obedience titled Akitas. We bred and owned the 1996 Akita National Specialty Best of Breed winner, American and Canadian Champion Moto-Yori’s Marko No Inaka. In addition to our champions, we bred Dotti, Moto-Yori’s Cover Girl Dotti, the Delta Society’s 1994 Guide Dog of the Year.
My husband Dallas and I became enamored with the papillon in our search to add the perfect toy dog to our family. Our research revealed a happy, fun loving, graceful little dog with a lot of heart and brains. This was the perfect dog for us.
In 2003 we added Mollie to our household as a pet and companion for my husband. A short time later, Cooper joined our family and we began showing in our home area of Phoenix, Arizona.
We have now finished 4 wonderful papillons and began our breeding program in 2004 under the Andali banner. Temperament, health, beauty, and elegance are paramount in the Andali breeding program. We breed papillons on a very limited basis. Therefore, each litter is carefully planned and anxiously awaited.
Our puppies are raised with great care so they grow up to be loving, well-adjusted pets. We do a great deal of early socialization and environmental enrichment to assure that each puppy can reach his or her full potential.
At the present time, all show prospects will be retained at Andali. All pets are sold on spay/neuter contracts or are already neutered before leaving for a loving home.
The success of our breed comes with breeding for health, soundness and beauty. We thank the breeders of the past for allowing us to continue their hard work and carry on their tradition, for our beloved papillons and phalenes. No one breeder can succeed by themselves, it comes with hard work, dedication and cooperation between us all. With this in mind we can all help to insure the success of our breed for future generations.
